Introduction

Membership to service organisations can provide real benefit for any business. Particularly if that organisation is a strong advocate of local business while at the same time is well connected to a wider network of like-minded groups.

Putting Northland First

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Northland (Inc) is a non-political, non-profit organisation which represents the full spectrum of business interests, both small and large, in Northland - retailing, service, manufacturing exporters, importers and other organisations.

Formed in 1902, the Chamber is one of 20,000 Chambers worldwide, and 32 in New Zealand.

The Chamber is governed by an elected President and Board of Directors, supported by skilled and professional staff. It has approximately 400 members.

EVENTS & NETWORKING - "Networking" in business is synonymous with opportunity. We host a range of events which offer members the opportunity to network, share knowledge and forge better relationships such as Business After 5’s (BA5) and motivational/educational/special interest breakfasts and luncheons. You have access to over 30 Chambers in NZ and 20,000 Chambers internationally. Membership is communal which means anybody within your business can be involved in Chamber activities. The development of creative and innovative events in partnership with our members increases the profile of the chamber and its members alike - for example The Westpac Northland Business Excellence Awards.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING -
One of the few certainties in a world full of change is that a business will always benefit from developing the skills of their workforce. 1 - 3 Employees $180.00
4 - 6 Employees $270.00
7 - 9 Employees $380.00
10 - 50 Employees $550.00
51+ $550 + $10 for each staff member up to maximum of $800

Charter
 
The Northland Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary association of companies and individuals engaged in business activities in the Northland region.
 
It is dedicated to the development of international, national and regional trade through:
 
1. Freedom of enterprise for those who by their individual and corporate talents contribute real economic, social and cultural wealth to the community.
 
2. The development of a market economy in which there is minimal interference from central and local government.
