Business After 5 Networking Event Hosted by Whangārei District Council (Registrations now CLOSED)

Join us for a journey on foot as we tour the new civic building, Te Iwitahi, and in your minds as we look to the future sharing plans and aspirations for our district.

There will be a quick overview of the Long Term Plan (a 10-year budget and work programme). This will include topics that the Council is seeking feedback on such as should WDC become a shareholder in Northland Inc (the regional economic development agency), and should the Council be more proactive in developing its commercial buildings? This is our district and our future, and we need to share our opinions.

There will also be a little update on our very first cruise ship season and the exciting possibilities this venture has opened up as well as a progress report on the Brynderwyns roading project.
