Whangarei Business After 5 – Job Lab

Join us at our first BA5 of 2020, and help us celebrate another first, the successful launch of our month-long Job Lab, the exciting and innovative initiative linking local employers and job seekers.

During Week one employers and training provider participants hosted seminars, interviews and information stands. We had over 200 people through the doors to see what’s on offer, with 61 candidates successfully scoring interviews for employment.

Week two, with a focus on NZ Services has been just as busy and we are excited to see what results we can report next. Week three has been about Construction and the Trades and you can see some of these organisations on display during the BA5 and learn about their experience.

Please join us in celebrating this successful collaboration between NorthChamber, Ministry of Social Development, Awhiworld, Snap Events and our awesome local business contributors, as we work together to activate and energise our business landscape. We will be joined by City Safe, who have been invaluable in assisting with site security during the event and are integral to safety in the CBD.
