Creative Northland is a Northland wide (regional) organisation whose strategic objectives include growing audience for the arts across the region, working with partners from other industry and sector groups to grow the economy of Northland and working with all artists and arts organisations across the region to build capacity, develop new, emerging and professional talent and to raise the profile of Northland artists and Northland throughout New Zealand and around the world.
Creative Northland is about promoting, developing and supporting the artists and the arts organisations of Northland, and supporting the whole community in developing their creative participation and experiences. We collate information about events, exhibitions, performances and workshops around the region and get the news out every month in our newsletter.

We work with national, regional and local funders (including government departments) to create programmes which deliver great outcomes for the artists and for their communities. We deliver professional development opportunities to artists and partner other organisations in developing their own programmes. Together with the creative organisations of Northland we work to grow awareness, build audience and develop the creative economy of Northland.
