The Office Café is a small café tucked away behind the old dairy factory in the Maungatapere village. The buildings are the old offices of the Dairy Factory that closed in the mid 1980s.
All meals, savouries and cakes, muffins and biscuits are made in our own little kitchen at the café. Chiasso coffee roasters from Devonport provide us with the ingredients for good coffee and we have a small range of cold drinks and of course a teapot of tea if you choose.
The Office Café has the best garden seating under a 60 year old Oak tree. We have a number of tables in the actual garden along with a small courtyard. There are a variety of rooms in the café so that you can have private room or a bigger group ( up to 20 ) in the old board room.
We have a blackboard menu with a variety of breakfast and lunch meals and the cabinet has a range of yummy slices, quiches, sandwiches and a few other goodies including a great carrot cake. We are open 7 days during the day, at night by appointment and available for catering small events.
