westforce™ Credit Union is not a registered bank but a locally owned and operated FINANCIAL SERVICE PROVIDER that offers financial services to its MEMBER/OWNERS with offices situated in West Auckland, South Auckland & Whangarei. We intend to open further offices within our common bond in the near future.
When westforce™ Credit Union claims to care only about its customers, it can’t help but mean it. Our CUSTOMERS are our MEMBERS, our MEMBERS are our only SHAREHOLDERS, our SHAREHOLDERS are our OWNERS, so who else is there to care about?
Every MEMBER of a Credit Union, being 18 years of age or older, is an OWNER of that Credit Union and has an equal say in its purpose and its future.
The MEMBER/OWNER, being 18 years of age or older, as a SHAREHOLDER, may vote to elect Directors onto the Board of the Credit Union annually to safeguard and direct the operation of the Credit Union on their behalf.
All the profits of a Credit Union are either used in the continuing operation of the Credit Union, or returned to the MEMBER/OWNERS as a dividend. There are no SHARE OBLIGATIONS beyond the MEMBERSHIP…
westforce™ Credit Union provides a wide range of personal account services and loans. We also provide access to your accounts via Eftpos, ATM, Telephone Access, Bill Payments, Internet Access and Texting Balance Enquiries.
We are proud of our reputation, most of which is spread by “word of mouth.” We are proof positive, that Local People can manage their own affairs, can be successful entrepreneurs and can be an effective alternative to the conservative and predictable.
