Simon is the Auckland Business Chamber CEO and current Waka Kotahi Chair. He will be sharing his perspective on what is needed to drive greater economic growth for our region. Simon will talk about the role of business communities in building confidence and driving growth.
As chair of Waka Kotahi he will also touch on the recent focus on transport routes for Northland.

Simon Bridges | is the CEO of the Auckland Business Chamber (ABC), a key figure in New Zealand’s business network, which supports vibrant communities through advocacy and resources. He also serves as Chair of Waka Kotahi (NZ Transport Agency) and holds positions on several corporate boards. A former National MP for Tauranga, Bridges was Leader of the Opposition and a senior Cabinet Minister, overseeing portfolios like Energy and Transport.
The Auckland Business Chamber has been instrumental for over 168 years in assisting both start-ups and established businesses, being part of a global network of over 13,000 Chambers of Commerce.
