Westpac Smarts | Facing the future – with Jarred Mair: Futurist, Strategic Foresight Consultant

March 27 @ 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer an extended lunchtime session with Jarred Mair Chief Insight Officer at MPI and Executive Director of Te Puna Whakaaronui (New Zealand’s leading food and fibre sector think tank) as our first Westpac Smarts Event for the year.

Recognised for his incredible wealth of experience and insight into New Zealand’s primary sector and beyond. Jarred’s knowledge sharing is deep and wide and has relevance and reach across industries and sectors. Jarred takes a systems-wide approach to analysing the impacts of geopolitical shifts, emerging technologies, evolving business models, and changing consumer demands, mapping their implications for New Zealand’s economy and offering insights for you and your organisation.

Jarred’s interactive presentations last year in Northland had a profound effect on those who came to hear him and we were met with many calls to have him back again.

Local businessman Harry Burkhardt had this feedback from the last talk he attended “Jarred’s insights present a waypoint in an environment that currently feels brittle, anxious, non-linear and incomprehensible. He shares his knowledge with generosity, and it is highly relevant not only to businesspeople, but community leaders’, politicians, and individuals across all generations.”

We are living in a time of unprecedented transformation; is your organisation prepared to adapt and thrive in this new era? Join us as we delve into the future, explore the challenges, find the opportunities, and gain valuable insights. While this might be short notice, we believe it’s an event to make time for in your calendar, we do hope you can join us…
