NP Wood Fibre Company Limited is a Whangārei-based softwood chip production and export business. Formed in February 2026, it is a joint venture between Nippon Paper Resources Australia (70%) and Pentarch Forestry (30%), operating from dedicated mills and port facilities at 21 Ralph Trimmer Drive, Port Marsden.
The newly-established entity acquired the former Marusumi Whangārei operations. It specializes in processing Pinus Radiata (radiata pine) into wood chips primarily for pulp and paper manufacturing.
