Northpine Ltd is an independently owned and operated timber manufacturing company based at Waipu.
We employ approximately 48 people who saw, dry, gauge, treat, wrap and strap high quality pine products.
Northpine supplies merchants in and around the Northland and Auckland regions in New Zealand, and to select wholesalers in Australia. We also have a distribution yard in Silverdale which provides specialist large dimension and unusual pine products to the merchants throughout the upper North Island.
The Northpine business is based on strong core values within the business and strong timber products produced by the business. Northland pine plantations produce the strongest and stiffest pine grown in New Zealand – this is the strategic advantage we base our business around.
Our management focuses on developing a learning culture within the business and utilizing teamwork to overcome challenges. We take pride in our technical sawmilling excellence and look to continually improve our processes and systems to improve performance.
