ONEONESIX is a creative arts and performance space based in Whangārei, dedicated to supporting artists, empowering rangatahi, and strengthening community connection through live performance. We provide an accessible, professional platform where emerging and established artists can develop their craft, present original work, and connect with audiences.
Our work spans live performance programming, artist development initiatives, and community engagement projects. We place a strong focus on rangatahi and underrepresented voices, offering mentoring, skill-building opportunities, and pathways into the creative industries. Through workshops, internships, and hands-on event experience, we help build confidence, capability, and creative careers.
ONEONESIX also serves as a vital cultural hub for Northland, hosting diverse events that bring people together and reflect the unique identity of our region.
