The Community is a New Zealand-based event listing platform that connects people with local activities, clubs, and events in their area. Our site supports community engagement by making it easy for individuals to discover what’s happening nearby, and for groups, clubs, and organisations to promote their events.
While open to all, The Community focuses on events that encourage participation and wellbeing, particularly among people aged 50 and over. We list a wide range of activities including fitness classes, hobby groups, markets, educational sessions, and volunteering opportunities.
The platform is free to use and simple to navigate, allowing community groups and small organisations to manage their own listings and reach a broader audience without needing advanced technical skills.
Launched in Northland, The Community is gaining strong local traction. As we grow, we aim to become the go-to online hub for community-focused events across the country.
