Whare Āwhina is a charitable trust providing integrated social support and legal services to individuals and whānau in our community. Our core service areas include Community Law, Community Housing, and Community Support, working together to provide practical, wrap-around assistance that addresses both immediate needs and longer-term wellbeing.
Alongside our legal and housing services, we operate a community café in the heart of the city and deliver a range of community initiatives including housing support, a social supermarket, food rescue, transitional housing, and property management. Together, these services support whānau to access justice, secure stable housing, and build stronger futures.
