Northland Chamber of Commerce appoints new Chief Executive
The Northland Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Smith as its new CE, following the resignation of Tony Collins who has taken a new position at Whangarei District Council.
Stephen has a rich business background, both here in New Zealand, and abroad, working with companies in both start-up and operational mode. Stephen brings significant commercial acumen and a passion for seeing business grow and proposer, with one eye on a succession plan for the future.
Says Stephen: “I am very excited to be joining the Northland Chamber team and adding my energy to an already strong organisation. If you are also passionate about business affairs and the necessary infrastructure to drive the North forward I can’t wait to meet with you, and let’s make some real noise that can’t be ignored!!”
The Northland Chamber of Commerce looks forward to continuing to promote a better business environment for Northland, and is delighted to have Stephen on board to enhance this work. We look forward to seeing our region prosper and grow, and will ensure that we are a strong advocate and champion of our businesses, enabling them to succeed in ever increasing ways.
