Join NorthChamber and The Northern Advocate for a serious chat with Kaipara’s Mayoral Candidates. This is your chance to hear directly from those vying to lead our district about their plans to support the the local community and business owners.
NorthChamber CEO Leah McKerrow and The Northern Advocate’s Chook Henare will be asking candidates what their thoughts and plans are around:
- Key business concerns like rates, CBD revitalisation (parking!), and retail crime.
- Leading a diverse council to deliver outcomes that benefit the whole community.
- Supporting infrastructure, transport, and workforce development to enable economic growth.
In these challenging economic times, it’s vital that our future leaders understand the realities facing local businesses and the wider communities they operate in and have clear and realistic plans on what can be done to us.
