We are a registered charitable organisation dedicated to strengthening whānau across the greater Whangārei region. Through counselling, community social work, and a wide range of parenting programmes, we walk alongside families as they navigate life’s challenges.
We believe children are taonga — precious and deserving of every opportunity to grow, be safe, and thrive. Their wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. We also believe every whānau has the right to live with dignity, connection, and hope, regardless of age, race, gender, or background.
Parenting is one of the most important roles anyone can undertake. That’s why we work to ensure parents and caregivers are supported, informed, and empowered with the skills and knowledge they need to nurture their tamariki.
Where we can, our professional team provides a wraparound service across our programmes, offering seamless support for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau. This integrated approach helps create meaningful and lasting change.
For 45 years, we have been a trusted part of the Whangārei community. Our dedicated staff continue to stand beside families, helping them overcome obstacles, build resilience, and flourish in a changing world.
