Chief Executive Officer – Northland Chamber of Commerce
The CEO reports directly to the Chamber Board, and oversees a small team of dedicated support staff. The essence of the role is a core focus on 4 pivotal outcomes:
1. ADVOCACY
- To be the trusted representative voice, and take clear positions on behalf of northland business
2. EASE OF BUSINESS
- To mitigate the local barriers to business success, whilst encouraging our local government entities to be enablers for growth
3. NETWORKING
- To be the confident front-person for regular and well-structured events that bring businesses and associated organisations together for mutual value
4. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
- To support wide ranging initiatives for enhancing leadership capability and capacity in our region
This is a position of influence. The CEO will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and inclusive culture for entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes and sectors.
